This sec, young attacker, Kimura was back as a starter. He and an ace forward, Uejo were expected to smash the net. Former Fagiano goal keeper, Matsubara as was on the reserve list.


After the kickoff, the home club struggled to create chances even though they had more possession. In the 11th minute, Uejo entered the rival's box and make an attempt, but it was stopped by Gunma's keeper. In the 20th minute, Tokumoto's strike was off target. In the 30th minute, Uejo was not able to grasp another chance. In the 43rd minute, Tokumoto almost found the net with his header. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.
 

Nine minutes after the break, Uejo's shot was off target. Two minute later, Kawano nearly opened the score. In the 69th minute, Saito tried to smash the net, but it was denied by the opponent's keeper. One minute later, Kiyama came off the bench. In the 87th minute, the red-uniformed men conceded a clincher. Afterwards, Arima's men were not able to equalize the match.

Former Fagiano goal keeper, Masubara has been constantly present this term. He must be highly motivated against Okayama.

This sec, an experienced forward, Saito was back in the starting line-up. He was expected to enhance the club's offensive strength. Two young attackers, Kimura and Kawamoto stood by on the bench.


Four minutes after the kickoff, Shirai's free kick didn't create a chance. Afterwards, the visitors struggled to attack forward. In the 14th minute, Saito almost opened the score, but it was denied by Kanazawa's keeper. In the 26th minute, Umeda showed an excellent saving. In the 36th minute, Tokumoto's attempt was ballooned over the bar. Four minutes later, Uejo's free kick was slightly off target.


Seven minutes after the break, Kawano headed off target. In the 63rd minute, Saito entered the opponent's box and tried to change the game. In the 65th minute, Kawamoto and Kimura came off the bench to change the game. In the 77th minute, Kawamoto was not able to hit the target with his header. In the 83rd minute, he missed another chance for an opener. During the added time, he almost smash the net. The game ended in a scoreless tie.

On July 11th, Okayama hosted Kanazawa. During the match, the home club struggled to push forward under the rival's pressure. In the 40th minute, Okayama conceded an opener. This sec, two Mayazakis and Tokumoto were back in the starting line-up. Veteran attacker, Saito was back on the bench from an injury list. He was expected to conclude the game.


Two minutes after the kickoff, Kawamato's attempt was blocked by the opponent. Afterwards, Okayama struggled to control the game. In the 29th minute, Kawamoto's strike was denied by Kofu's keeper. Three minutes later, the home club conceded an opener. In the 35th minute, Kiwara MIYAZAKI tried to equalize the game, but it was saved by the rival's keeper.


Four minutes after the break, the visitors added a second. Five minutes later, Saito and Kimura came off the bench to change the game. In the 57th minute, Kimura tried to enter Kofu's box, but failed. In the 70th minute, Saito was not able to smash the net with his header. In the 82nd minute, a penalty was given to the opponent and they added a third. During the added time, Uejo found the net with his superb strike, but it was too late to equalize the game.

This is the last match of the first half of this season. In 2020, the former division 1 club failed to return to the upper league. This year, they only target for the promotion.


One of the Kofu's key player is Izumisawa. He has been constantly present as a first choice. He is the one who triggers Kofu's attacking. He should be marked carefully.
