Uejo was replaced by Hamada. Seven minutes after the break, Kawano entered Omiya's box and tried to add a second. In the 55th minute, Mitchell Duke almost doubled their lead. During the match, it was raining cats and dogs so that the pitch was slippery. After the kickoff, the visitors struggled to have a ball possession. In the 6th minute, Okayama almost conceded an opener, however it was luckily an offside. In the 25th minte, Mitchell Duke tried to open the score, but his attempt was off target. In the 43rd minute, Umeda showed a fine saving.


Four minutes after the break, Uejo's free kick was ballooned over the bar. In the 61st minute, Tokumoto failed to hit the target. In the 65th minute, Saito and Kimura came off the bench to change the game. In the 71st minute, captain, Kiyama missed to the chance take a lead. In the 80th minute, Okayama conceded an opening goal. In the 42nd minute, Mitchell Duke showed an excellent equalizer. As a result, both clubs shared a point.

One of the key players is Nakajima. This veteran forward has been ever-present so far and has an established presence in his team and phenomenal shooting ability.

This sec, a new signing, Australian forward, Mitchell Duke started the game for the first time since he joined the club. He was expected to improve the club's offensive strength. Veteran attacker, Saito was listed on the reserve list.


After the kickoff, the home club aggressively kept attacking forward. Mitchell Duke tried to play as a target man. In the 25th minute, his header was denied by Yamaguchi's keeper. In the 33rd minute, Shirai's free kick was cleared by the rival. In the 44th minute, he was not able to grasp anothr chance. During the added time, Uejo almost found the net, provided by Tokumoto. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


Six minutes after the break, Mitchell Duke tried to open the score with his header. In the 56th minute, Uejo showed a mid-range shot. In the 67th minute, Saito and Kimura came off the bench to change the game. After the cooling break, Uejo smash the net with a brilliant strike. Afterwards, the red-uniformed men made efforts to keep a clean sheet.

Match Preview 24th Sec : VS Renofa Yamaguchi at City Light Stadium on August 9

On March 21st, Okayama and Yamaguchi shared a point. Arima's men aggressively kept pressing against the opponent. However, they struggled to create chances due to the slippery pitch.  After the cooling break of the second half, Uejo almost made an opening goal. In the 66th minute, Paulinho and Kawamoto came off the bench to change the game, but it remained the same. During the added time, Kanayama made a superb saving.


This is PRIDE OF CHISHIKOKU DERDY so that the match should be very heated. And also, former Yamaguchi defender, Hiroki must be highly motivated against his former club.

Emperor's cup 2021:The club failed to defeat the division 1 club

On August 2nd, Okayama faced J League division 1 club, Nagoya Grampus.  This match, some fresh players were placed in the starting line-up such as veteran goal keeper, Kanayama and an experienced forward, Yamamoto.


During the match, Okayama aggressively kept pushing forward. However, they struggled to smash the net. While, the red-uniformed men conceded an opening goal. They were not able to equalize the match before the break.

After the break, head coach, Arima sent a new signing, Ishige to change the game, but the game remained the  same and he was replaced at the end of the match due to an expected accident. As a result, Okayama lost the ticket to the next round.
