Two minutes after the kickoff, Sakuragawa found the net, but it was offside. Three minutes later, Suzuki nearly opened the score. Right after that, Tanaka's attempt was blocked by the opponent. Later, the visitors struggled to create chances. In the 22nd minute, Hotta made a fine saving. Right after the cooling break, Tanaka smash the net with his excellent opener, assisted by Sano. In the 31st minute, Hotta showed another good saving. In the 41st minute, the game was equalized by the rival.


Ten minutes after the break, Wakasa and Sakamoto came off the bench to change the game. However, the club struggled to have more ball possession. In the 65th minute, Sakuragawa smash the net with his header, but it was no goal due to the team's foul.  In the 69th minute, Kawano and Kimura were sent onto the pitch to clinch the game. Okayama's starting line-up was the same as the last sec. The red-uniformed centre back Jordy BUIJS seemed motivated to face his former club. Kimura was expected to change the game when he came in.


After the kickoff, the home club aggressively kept forward. In the 9th minute, Sano's attempt was denied by Nagasaki's keeper. In the 17th minute, BUIJS's shot was blocked by Nagasaki. Right after that, Sano missed the chance to open the score. After the cooling break, Hotta made a fine saving. In the 37th minute, Sano smash the net with his superb opener, however, three minutes later, the game was equalized. In the 44th minute, the rival added a second.


Seven minutes after the break, Yanagi's header was off target. Four minutes later, Sakuragawa almost found the net. In the 61st minute, Tanaka scored an equalizer.  Right after that, Kimura and Takagi came off the bench. In the 75th minute, BUIJS's attempt was off target. Afterwards, the club struggled to create chances. During the added time, free kick was given to the club but Tabei was not able to grasp the chance. Kiyama's men only obtained one point.

On July 12th, Okayama host the division 1 club, Shonan　Bellmare. At this match, head coach, Kiyama placed several fresh players. The product of the club's academy, Yamada is one of these. He was expected to create lots of chances.


After the kickoff, the club suffered from the opponent's pressure. However, the red-uniformed men made efforts to keep a clean sheet. After the break, the game remained the same with their less ball possession. In the 73th minute, the rival took a lead. Right after that, Sakuragawa and Kawai came off the bench to change the game, but, in the 88th minute, Okayama conceded a second and then, they had to leave the emperor's cup.

In the 15th minute, Tanaka's attempt was off target. In the 27th minute, Sakuragawa's strike hit the cross bar. In the 39th minute, Tanaka almost found the net. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.  


Right after the break, Kiyama's men missed the chance for an opener. In the 51st minute, Sato showed a fine strike. In the 55th minute, Takahashi came off the bench to replace Tanaka. In the 59th minute, Semba tried to open the score. Later, the red-uniformed men were looking for chances. In the 70th minute, Sakuragawa almost made an opener with his header. Two minutes later, Sakuragawa missed the chance to open the score. In the 30th minute, The home club made their own goal. In the 36th minute, Jordy BUIJS stroke a mid-range shot. In 43th minute, Sano tried to equalize the match. In the 45th minute, Tanaka's header was slightly over the cross bar.


Sakuragawa was replaced by Sakamoto before the second half began. In the 48th minute, Sano's attempt was denied by Fujieda's keeper. In the 56th minute, Fujieda doubled their lead. Later, Okayama kept going forward for an equalizer. During the added time, Jordy Buijs equalized the game. As a result, it ended in a tie.

Suzuki was replaced by Takahashi. Afterwards, the home club tried to keep attacking with long-range passes. In the 62nd minute, Mauk and Kawai came off the bench to change the game.
