Two minutes after the break, Ichimi's shot was saved by Iwaki's keeper. Later, the home club struggled to take control of the game. In the 56th minute, they conceded a goal. In the 24th minute, Hayakawa tried to find the net. In the 42th minute, Iwabuchi's attempt was off target. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


Hayakawa was replaced by Kamiya. In the 48th minute, Kamiya almost made an opener. In the 56th minute, Kiyama's men conceded an opener. Two minutes later, the rival doubled their lead.
