Shimizu S-Pulse won the championship of the division 2　League and secured the promotion. This year, they target　to make a survival in the upper league firstly as well as　Okayama.


Former Shimizu man, Kamiya and Takeuchi can be key players to defeat the division 2 champion. They know well about the rival and have the leaderships.

This sec, the head coach, Kiyama placed some fresh players in the starting line-up. Former Gamba forward,  Ichimi started the game for the first time this season. He was expected to score goals.


After the kickoff, the red-uniformed men aggressively kept attacking forward. In the 6th minute, Kato's attempt was off target. Four minutes later, Esaka missed the chance for an opener. In the 11th minute, a new signing, Kudo tried to hit the target. In the 20th minute, Tagami almost found the net. In the 33th minute, Kamiya's free kick was off target. Right before the break, Yanagi made an opener with his stunning strike.


Three minutes after the break, Ichimi added a second with his superb shot. In the 56th minute, Iwabuchi tried to add a third. In the 60th minute, Kimura and Lucas came off the bench. In the 69th minute, Kato's attempt was off target. In the 81st minute, Ichimi nearly smash the net, but it was saved by the former Okayama keeper, Ichimori. In the 44th minute, Lucas missed the chance for a third. As a result, Kiyama's men successfully kept a clean sheet and obtain three points.

Match Preview 3rd Sec : VS Gamba Osaka at JFE Stadium on February 26

Gamba Osaka are one of the powerful clubs and well known in Asia. For Kiyama's men, this match seems to be the big test. They are required to obtain points.


Former Fagiano goal keeper, Ichimori plays as the first choice. He must be motivated to come back to face his former club in Okayama.

This sec, Lucas started the game. He was expected to score the first goal this season. Kamiya was on the reserve list. He was expected to change the game when coming in.


After the kickoff, the visitors struggled to stop the former Fagiano target man, Sakuragawa. In the 10th minute, Tagami tried to find the net from Tabei's corner. In the 17th minute, Kato's corner was cleared by the opponent. Afterwards, Lucas made efforts to create chances. In the 24th minute, Brodersen made a fine saving. In the 36th minute, Tabei failed to open the score. Two minutes later, Lucas's attempt was off target.


After the break, the game remained the same. Kiyama's men struggled to have more ball possession. In the 57th minute, Okayama conceded an opener, scored by Sakuragawa. In the 64th minute, Takeuchi and Ichimi came off the bench to change the game. In the 70th minute, Lucas missed the chance for an equalizer. In the 76th minute , Kamiya was sent in. However, the substitutes were not able to change the game. During the added time, Kato's free kick was ballooned over the bar. As a result, Okayama lost to the rival club.

Yokohama FC are also newly-promoted club as well as Okayama. This year, their initial aim is to survive in the division 1 club therefore they sign with several talented players.


Former Fagiano attacker, Sakuragawa can be one of the key players. He can play as a target man so that the red uniformed men are required to mark him with an extra care.

This is is opening match in 2025 season. The head coach, Kiyama placed some new signings in the starting line-up. Esaka is one of these. He was expected to create lots of chances.


After the kickoff, the home club struggled to have more ball possession. In the 9th minute, Brodersen showed a fine saving. Right after that, he made anther great saving. In the 14th minute, Lucas's attempt was ballooned over the bar. In the 20th minute, another new signing, Tatsuta made a good blocking. In the 23th minute, Tagami opened the score with his stunning strike. In the 36th minute, Kimura added a second with his excellent shot.


Six minutes after the break, Kimura tried to find the net. In the 66th, he was replaced by Ichimi. In the 71st minute, Brodersen made a good saving. Two minutes later, Kamiya, Takeuchi and Abe came off the bench to secure their victory. In the 85th minute, Lucas showed a fine blocking to save his team. During the added time, Kato missed the chance for a third. Later, Okayama kept a clean sheet and made the first victory in the division 1 League.

Match Preview 1st Sec : VS Kyoto Sanga at JFE Stadium on February 15

This is the first match in the division 1 in the club history. The name of the stadium has been changed to JFE stadium. The day would remain forever in the club's history.


Kiyama's men host Kyoto Sanga. Former Fagiano playmaker, Takeda can be one of the key players. He can trigger his club's attacking so that the red-uniformed men are required to mark him with an extra care.

2025:It is just unpredictable

There are already 20 clubs in J League division 3, therefore, it is now difficult to get the ticket for the promotion. It is because there will be the playoffs between the second-placed club of JFL and the 19th club of the division 3.


Honda FC, owned by Honda Motor Co, the champion of JFL in 2023 were not able to stop other powerful clubs aiming for J League division 3. They target the champion this year.


Veertien Mie finished in the 5th place last year and target to compete for the top two of the league this year. They can be the one of promotion favorites since they sign with talented players.

2025:Three clubs in Chushikoku region competing in the league

Last year, Kamatamare Sanuki barely made a survival in the league. This year, they sign with several talented players so that they are expected to improve their performance.


Gainare Tottori lost the ticket for the playoffs, ending in the 13th place. This year, the club target to finish within the 6th position.


Newly-promoted club, Kochi United can be the dark horse in the league. The club will be tested in the division 3 League.

2025: Fukuyama City FC aim for JFL

Needless to say, Fukuyama City FC,the 2022, 2023 and 2024 League champion is the title favorite. The club sign with several talented players for the promotion this year.


Another title favorite is Baleine Shimonoseki. The club also aim for J League and are expected to stop Fukuyama.
