Seven minutes after the kickoff, Tanaka tried to open the score, but his attempt was off target. Later, Kawano tried to create a chance with his cross, but it was blocked by the rival. His another cross helped Yanagi show a header, but it was off target. In the 11th minute, Brodersen made a good saving. Afterwards, the home club struggled to find the net. In the 40th minute, a penalty was given to Okayama and Gleyson brought a lead to his club. In the 43th minute, Iwabuchi almost double their lead.


Tabei was replaced by Semba. Right after the break, he nearly smash the net. One minute later, Yanagi's shot was ballooned over the bar. In the 49th minute, Gleyson missed to add a second. Four minutes later, Fujita was not able to score a goal. In the 62th minute, Kimura came off the bench to secure their victory. Right after that, Brodersen showed another excellent blocking. After that, corner was given to the club, but their were not able to grasp the chance. In the 6th minute, Kimura's shot was ballooned over the cross bar. Later, they struggled to have more ball possession. In the 21th minute Gleyson almost found the net. Right afterthat, Iwabuchi missed another chance. In the 39th minute, Kimura's attempt was off target. In the 44th mintue, Abe showed a good blocking. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.
