This sec, two veteran men, Iwamasa and Akamine were suspended, therefore, a Korean defender, Kim Jin-kyu and a rookie striker, Fujimoto played as a starter. A defensive midfield player, Watanabe and an ace attacker, Oshitani were back in the starting line-up.  A Chinese forward, Wang Jingbin was listed as a substitute for the first time since he joined the club. 


A minute after the kickoff,  Fujimoto almost found the net, assisted by a young attacker, Katayama. Later, Okayama conceded an opening goal. In 3rd minute, a goalkeeper, Nakabayashi showed a superb saving, encouraging his teammates. In 8th minute, Oshitani tried to make an equalizer. Afterward, more possession belonged to the rival. Nagasawa's men were mostly forced to play on their own side. In 27th minute, Fujimoto was not able to grasp the chance. In 30th minute, Nakabayashi made another splendid saving. Three minutes later, Oshitani failed to take a shot. In 35th minute, Fujimoto nearly scored a goal. In 43rd minute, Nakabayashi made a remarkable blocking. 


Right after the break, a young playmaker, Yajima showed a mid-range shot, trying to equalize the game. In 51st minute, Nakabayashi showed a fine saving. Afterwards, Okayama struggled to take the initiative. In 60th minute, Sekido came in to change the match. Six minutes later, Oshitani failed to strike a goal. Later, the red-uniformed men aggressively tried to change the game. Nakabayashi made an amazing blocking. In 77th minute, Yajima was replaced by a playmaker, Shimada. Two minutes later, Toyokawa came off the bench to change the game. In 84th minute, the rival added a second, securing the victory. At the end,  Shimada's shot was blocked by Kyoto's goal keeper, Sugeno. As a result, Okayama were disappointedly defeated.
