This sec, head coach, Nagasawa placed the same starting line-up as the last sec. A young attacker, Fujimoto stood by as a substitute. He was expected to play as a chance-taker. While, Some former internationals such as Komano, Yamase and Sakata played as a starter.


After the kickoff, Okayama were mostly forced to defend the opponent's offence. In the 7th minute, a goal keeper, Ichimori blocked a Brazilian forward, Wellington's header. In the 12th mintue, a young attacker, Ishige failed to creat a chance in the box. In the 20th minute, Okayama's top scorer, Toyokawa's shot misfired. In the 26th mintue, Ishige missed another chance. Five minutes later, Ichimori showed a superb saving. In the 40th minute, a defender, Shinohara showed a good defence, taking care of Wellington's offence. In the 42nd mintue, the red-uniformed men were not able to graps the chance with their free kick. The first half ended in a scoreless tie. 


Three minutes after the interval, Ishige's corner kick was cleared by the rival's goalkeeeper. In the 60th minute, Fujimoto came off the bench to change the game. Five minutes later, Ishige was able to provide a pass with his free kick. Afterwards, Fagiano struggled to push forward for an opening goal. In the 82nd minute, Toyokawa was replaced by a defensive midfielder, Watanabe. In the 88th minute, a rookie, Tsukagawa stroke a mid-range shot. Later, Okayama conceded an opener. Right after that, an attacker, Mimura sent in to equalize the match, but as a result, Okayama were defeated by the rival.
