This sec, head coach, Nagasawa placed some fresh players. A defender, Masuda was back in the starting line-up. Korean attacker, JEONG Chung-Geun started the game for the first time since he joined the club this summer. A veteran, Akamine was expected to finallize the game.


Four minutes after the kickoff, a corner was given to Okayama, but they were not able to grasp the chance. Afterwards, Nagasawa's men struggled to push forward. In the 15th minute, their another corner was blocked by the opponent. In the 27th minute, Akamine nearly smashed the net with  his header. Three minutes later, an experienced playmaker, Sueyoshi's attempt was over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Sueyoshi failed to provide a cross with his corner. The first period ended in a scoreless tie.


Four minutes after the interval, a captain, Kiyama tried to open the score. In the 59th minute, an attacker, Mimura's shot was blocked by former Fagiano goal keeper, Kushibiki. Two minutes later, JEONG Chung-Geun was replaced by an experienced attacker, Saito. In the 67th minute, Saito missed the chance for an opener. In the 78th minute, a striker, Nakama was sent onto the pitch to change the game. One minute later, Okayama's corner was cleared by the rival. Afterwards, the red-uniformed men struggled to create chance. Therefore, during the added time, Okayama conceded a clincher and lost to Yamagata.
