Emperor's cup 2022:The club failed to advance to the next round

On June 1st, Okayama host the rival in the division 2, Tochigi SC at City Light Stadium. This match, some fresh players were placed in the starting line-up such as veteran centre back, Hamada and rookie midfield player, Sugiyama.


During the match, Okayama aggressively kept pushing forward. However, they struggled to take a control of the game and create goal-scoring chances.


After the break, head coach, Kiyama sent Brazilian attacker, Tiago ALVES onto the pitch to change the game, but, the game remained the same. At the end of the game, the home club conceded a clincher. As a result, Okayama lost the ticket to the next round.
