This sec, the head coach, Kiyama placed the same starting line-up as the last time. A youngster, Sato was on the reserve list. He was expected to change the game. Former Marinos defender, Kato started the game.

Six minutes after the kickoff, corner was given to the home club. Esaka's attempt was off target, crossed by Kato. Right after that, Tatsuta was not able to grasp another chance. In the 10th minute, Tagami showed a nice blocking. In the 14th minute, Brodersen, made an amazing saving. In the 18th minute, Esaka tried to open the score. Later, Okayama struggled to kept attacking. In the 45th minute, Brodersen made another great saving. The first half ended in a scoreless tie,


Nine minutes after the break, Kamiya and Sato came off the bench to change the game. In the 57th minute, Tagami almost found the net. Three minutes later, Kamiya nearly opened the score. In the 67th minute, Lucas smash the net with his superb strike. During the added time, he was replaced by veteran forward, Saito who  appeared for the first time this season. As a result, the red-uniformed men successfully kept a clean sheet.
