Afterwards, the home club took a control of the game, however, they struggled to smash the net. In the 16th minute, Mitchell Duke nearly opened the score. In the 33rd minute, Tanaka's attempt was off target. In the 40th minute, Motoyama showed a fine heading, but failed to take a lead. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


Six minutes after the break, a corner was given to Okayama. Yanagi had several chances to find the net, but he couldn't. Right after that, his blocking the opponent's attempt saved his team.
