A minute after the kickoff, Toyokawa blazed the ball, trying to give a lead to his team. In the 14th minute, a veteran, Sawaguchi made an opening goal, provided by an attacker, Katayama. Five minutes later, Akamine added a superb second. In the 22nd minute, Toyokawa was not able to grasp a chance. In the 33rd minute, a penalty was given to the rival, and Okayama conceded a goal. Six minutes later, Katayama tried to possess a ball close to the box. One minute later, Sawaguchi`s attempt was denied. Before the break, the game was equalized.


After the interval, more possession belonged to Tokushima. In the 52nd minute, an experienced attacker, Ito came off the bench to change the game.
