Matsumoto are one of the top choices for the playoffs. In 2017, the club ended up in the 8th position. This former division 1 club bought several talented men to reach their goal before the opening of the this term. 


One of their new forces is a young striker, Daizen MAEDA. Last year, he played for Mito Hollyhock in the division 2 on a loan from Matsumoto. During the season, the 20 year old attacker became a smash,　scoring 13 goals.


At the 3rd sec, Matsumoto met Tokyo Verdy. Right after the kickoff, an attacker, Nagai stroke an oper, encouraging the his team. However, before the interval, the score was turned around by Tokyo.Afterwards, Matsumoto were not able to equalize the game.
