After the kickoff, the visitors struggled to keep pushing forward. In the 5th minute, Duke missed the chance for an opener. In the 19th minute, Okayama conceded an opener. In the 21st minute, young attacker, Sano found the net with his first goal in his career. In the 35th minute, the rival added a second. Afterwards, Kiyama's failed create several chances.  


After the break, the game remained the same. the visitors struggled to keep attacking. In the 59th minute, head coach, Kiyama sent Kawano and Tiago onto the pitch to change the game. In the 67th minute, Tiago tried to make an equalizer, but it was off target. In the 80th minute, Yanagi equalized the match with his excellent header. During the added time, Tiago failed to make a clincher. As a result, the match ended in a tie.
