Emperor's cup 2023:The club made a good start

On June 8th, Okayama host Giravanz Kitakyushu in the division 3, at City Light Stadium. This match, some fresh players were placed in the starting line-up such as veteran centre back, Hamada and the product of the club's academy, Yamada.


During the match, Okayama aggressively kept pushing forward and they created some goal-scoring chances. Right before the break, Sakuragawa made an amazing opener.


Eight minutes after the interval, Sakuragawa added a second with a superb strike. In the 68th minute, Yamada was replaced by Kawatani who made a debut for the club. Even though the home club conceded a goal, they successfully obtained the ticket to the next round.
