After the kickoff, Okayama struggled to take a control of the game. In the 4th minute, Brodersen made a fine saving. In the 15th minute, Lucas tried to open the score. Five minutes later, a free kick was given to the home club, but Hayakawa was not able to grasp the chance. In the 21th minute, Yanagi's attempt was denied by Kushibiki. In the 22nd minute, Iwabuchi almost found the net. Seven minutes later, his another shot was saved by Kushibiki again. In the 36th minute, Sueyoshi failed to take a lead. Before the break, Takeuchi missed the chance for an opener. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


Three minutes after the interval, Lucas's attempt was blocked by the opponent. In the 48th minute, Suzuki were not able to find the net. Right after that, Iwabuchi was not able to grasp another chance. In the 12th minute, Brodersen showed a fine saving. In the 13th minute, Iwabuchi's header was blocked by the rival. In the 22nd minute, Yanagi missed to open the score with his header. In the 30th minute, Hayakawa's strike was off target.  Four minutes later, Iwabuchi's header was denied by the opponent. In the 42nd minute, Lucas failed to tale a lead. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.

On April 20th, Okayama host the rival. After the kickoff, the home club made efforts to stop the rival attacking even through they struggled to have more ball possession. In the 30th minute, Wakasa smash the net with his superb strike, provided by Iwabuchi. During the added time, Iwabuchi added a second with his excellent shot. After the break, the game remained the same and the red-uniformed men successfully kept a clean sheet.


Kumamoto have several young talents and Kumashiro is one of these. This 16 year old striker has already had an established presence in the team. His speed and shooting ability are ones to watch out for.

Emperor's cup 2024:The club's challenge ended in a flash

On June 12th, Okayama host the division 2 rival, Ehime. At this match, head coach, Kiyama placed several fresh players. The product of the club's academy, Yamada is one of these. He was expected to shine himself.


After the kickoff, the club suffered from the opponent's pressure and conceded three goals during the first half, while Tanaka smash the net with his stunning strike. After the break, the game remained unchanged. The red uniformed men conceded four goals and had a devastating defeat. Their journey at Emperor's cup ended in a flash.

This sec, Tagami was not listed for this match due to his suspension. Suzuki was back as a starter instead of Tagami. Kimura and Tanaka stood as a substitute.

This newly-promoted club aim to survive in the division 2 this season. Therefore, the club signed with some talented players before the season.


The club's ace forward is Fujimoto, who was the top scorer of the division 3 in 2016 & 2017 season. He has stunning speed and shooting ability so that the red uniformed men are required to mark him with an extra care.
