After the kickoff, Okayama struggled to take a control of the game. In the 4th minute, Brodersen made a fine saving. In the 15th minute, Lucas tried to open the score. Five minutes later, a free kick was given to the home club, but Hayakawa was not able to grasp the chance. In the 21th minute, Yanagi's attempt was denied by Kushibiki. In the 22nd minute, Iwabuchi almost found the net. Seven minutes later, his another shot was saved by Kushibiki again. In the 36th minute, Sueyoshi failed to take a lead. Before the break, Takeuchi missed the chance for an opener. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.

In the 86th minute, Yanagi smash the net with his amazing header, assisted by Tanaka. As as result, the club brought a victory and joy to City Light Stadium.
