This sec, Okayama's head coach, Nagasawa placed two fresh players in the starting line-up such as an experienced goal keeper, Kanayama and defender, Masada. This was their first appearance this season. A veteran striker, Akamine started the game. He was expected to work as a chance-taker.


During the first half, Fagiano struggled to have possession. In the 10th minute, Masuda tried to create a chance, crossed by a playmaker, Ueda. In the 21st minute, Kanayama showed a fine saving, encouraging his teammates.I the 30th minute, a wingger, Mukuhara's cross was denied by the rival's goal keeper. Four minutes later, an attacker, Nakama almost smashed the net. In the 41st minute, Nakama's header was off target. Afterwards, Okayama were not able to make an opening goal.


After the break, the game changed. In the 54th minute, Ueda scored an opener with a brilliant free kick. Four minutes later, Nakama added a second with a superb volley. In the 62nd minute, Nakama entered the box but he failed to provide a cross. In the 73rd minute, Akamine made a clincher with a penalty. Three minutes later, he seemed to add a fourth with his header, but it was an offside. Right after that, a young mid fielder, Takeda came in. After that, an experienced playmaker, Sueyoshi came off the bench. Takeda's cross was blocked by the rival. In the 43rd minute, an experienced striker, Ito replaced Nakama. As a result, the red-uniformed men successfully defeated the rival.
