This sec, two veteran centre backs, Hamada and Tanaka were back in the starting line-up. Another veteran playmaker, Ueda was listed on the reserve list. 

One minute after the kickoff, rookie attacker, Noguchi tried to open the score, but it was off target. In the 16th minute, Saito nearly found the net. In the 23rd minute, goal keeper, Popp William showed an excellent saving. In the 28th minute, Saito entered the box, but his cross was blocked by the opponent. In the 42nd minute, Popp William made another superb saving. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.

14 minutes after the break, Noguchi was replaced by Yamamoto. However, Okayama struggled to create chances. In the 61st minute, Brazilian playmaker, Paulinho couldn't hit the target with his mid-range shot. In the 76th minute, Ueda was on for Paulinho. In the 84th minute, Uejo almost smashed the net. During the added time, Yamamoto missed the chance to clinch the game, crossed by Shimoguchi. As a resultm, both clubs shared a point.
