Last year, Matsumoto struggled in the mid-table, ending up in the 13th place. Before this season, the club signed with lots of talented players to enhance their strength.
Matsumoto's ace forward is Sakano. He is well-experienced and he can be the target man. Former Fagiano centre back, Shinohara plays for Matsumoto.
