Match Preview 12th Sec : VS V・Varen Nagasaki at Nagasaki Athletic Stadium on May 7

Last term, Nagasaki finished in 6th place and successfully advanced to the playoffs for the second time in their history. At the playoffs, the club were defeated by Avispa Fukuoka, but Nagasaki constantly performed well in 2016.

　
After the last season, A Korean international, Lee Yong-Jae left for Kyoto Sanga, but the club acquired a young attacker, Ryo NAGAI from Cerezo Osaka. He is the product of Cerezo's youth system and can be viewd as a threat. He has already scored five goals so far this season.


At the last sec, V・Varen faced Giravanz Kitakyushu at Battle of Kyushu Derby match. The game was exciting. At the end of the first half, Nagasaki's attacker, Matsumoto scored an equalizer. After the interval, Both club added a goal, as a result, the match ended in a tie, 2 - 2.


This term, Nagasaki struggled in 20th place with 8 points. Even though, an ace attacker, Nagai has been in a good form, the club have struggled to score goals so far.
