Match Review 38th Sec : VS Shimizu S-Pulse at IAI Stadium on December 8

This is the last match of this season. This sec, Kamiya and Motoyama were back in the starting line-up. Ichimi and Iwabuchi were on the bench. They were expected to score goals when coming in.


After the kickoff, Okayama aggressively kept attacking forward. In the 7th minute, Kimura's attempt was off target. In the 16th minute, Lucas almost opened the score, but former Fagiano goal keeper, Umeda showed a nice blocking. In the 29th minute, Brodersen made a superb saving. In the 38th minute, a corner was given to Kiyama's men, but Lucas was not able to grasp the chance, crossed by Kamiya. In the 38th minute, Kimura almost found the net with his header. In the 43th minute, Lucas'S shot hit the bar. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


In the 47th minute, Sato nearly took a lead. One minute later, Sato entered the opponent's box. In the 53th minute, Esaka's header was denied by Umeda. In the 57th minute, Kimura missed the chance to open the score. In the 61st minute, Matsumoto and Tabei came off the bench to change the game. In the 63th minute, Lucas made an opener with his brilliant strike. In the 68th minute, Kimura failed to double their lead. In the 74th minute, Lucas was replaced by Ichimi. In the 76th minute, Esaka added a second with his beautiful volley shot. In the 79th minute, Sato was not able to add a third. In the 88th minute, Iwabuchi came in. Right after that, the visitors conceded a goal. However, the red-uniformed men obtained three points and finished in the 13th position in the division 1.

Match Preview 38th Sec : VS Shimizu S-Pulse at IAI Stadium on December 6

On March 2nd, the club host Shimizu. After the kickoff, Okayama struggled to have more ball possession. In the 20th minute, Iwabuchi almost found the net. In the 29th minute, his another shot was off target. Before the break, Kiyama's men had two goal-scoring chances, but failed to take a lead. In the 62th minute, a penalty was given to the opponent, Brodersen saved his team from being scored. In the 68th minute, the rival took a lead. In the 71st minute, Kimura nearly equalized the game. In the 75th minute, Kimura made an equalizer with his excellent header. As a result, the club shared a point with 2024 division 2 Champion.


This is the last match of this season. Luckily, it's been confirmed that the club made a survival in the league campaign. The red-uniformed men are expected to show the hope for the next year.

Match Review 37th Sec : VS Urawa Reds at JFE Stadium on November 30

This was the last match at their home stadium this season. The club happliy secured their survival at the last match however they hadn't obtained three points for a while. They were expected to defeat the rival club. A veteran goal keeper, Kanayama started the game. He announced his retirement earlier.


Three minutes after the kickoff, Lucas's strike was saved by urawa's keeper. In the 5th minute, Esaka almost found the net. After that, a free kick was given to the home club however Sato was not able to grasp the chance. In the 14th minute, Kanayama was replaced by Brodersen. In the 22nd minute, Matsumoto's attempt was blocked by the opponent. Right after that, Tagami missed the chance to opened the score. In the 26th minute, Lucas's shot was off target. The first half ended in scoreless tie.


Right after the break, Brodersen showed a brilliant saving. In the 52nd minute, Sato's header was blocked by the rival. In the 59th minute, Tagami showed a nice blocking. In the 70th minute, Popo and Kamiya came off the bench to change the game. However, two minutes later, Kiyama's men conceded an opener. In the 86th minute, former Okayama attacker, Hayakawa came in. In the 89th minute, Esaka's shot was off target. As a result, the red-uniformed men were not able to obtain points.

Match Preview 37th Sec : VS Urawa Reds at JFE Stadium on November 30

On March 8th, Okayama visited Urawa. After the kickoff, Okayama struggled to have more ball possession. In the 21st minute, Brodersen made a fine saving. Later, Kiyama's men struggled to create chances. During the added time, Kato's strike was saved by Urawa's keeper. The first half ended in a scoreless tie. Four minutes after the break, the visitors conceded an opening goal. In the 58th minute, Lucas and Kimura came off the bench to change the game. Two substitutes aggressively kept attacking forward. However, Okayama lost to the former Asia champion.


Former Fagiano attacker, Hayakawa can be the one to watch out for if he appears for this match since he knows well about his former team. This is the last match at their home stadium. They are expected to show the hopes for the next season.

This sec, Brodersen was back in the starting line-up from the suspension. Kimura and Lucas started the game as well. They were expected to score goals.  


After the kickoff, the visitors struggled to attack forward. In the 12th minute, Brodersen made a fine saving. In the 15th minute, Kimura almost found the net. Four minutes later, Tabei's attempt was ballooned over the bar. In the 28th minute, Brodersen showed another great saving. In the 35th minute, Esaka missed the chance to open the score. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


Four minutes after the break, Brodersen showed a fine saving. Right after that, he made another big blocking. In the 52th minute, Kimura nearly opened the score. In the 61st minute, Kamiya and Matsumoto came off the bench to change the game. In 63th minute, Sato's strike was blocked by the opponent. In the 84th minute, Kiyama's men conceded an opener. During the added time, Matsumoto equalized the game with his superb header, bringing a point to his team.

Match Preview 36th Sec : VS Kawasaki Frontale at Todoroki Stadium on November 8

On March 16th, Okayama host Kawasaki and shared a point with the rival. After the kickoff, the home club struggled attacking forward. In the 13th minute, Lucas was not able to grasp a chance. In the 36th minute, Esaka nearly smash the net. Six minutes after the break, Tagami's shot was ballooned over the bar. In the 66th minute, Iwabuchi and Yanagi came off the bench to change the game. In the 71st minute, Lucas failed to make an opener. During the added time, Brodersen showed an excellent saving. The match ended in a scoreless tie.


Kawasaki's captain, Wakizaka can be the one to watch out for. He has an established presence in his team and can  trigger their attacking.

Match Review 35th Sec : VS FC Tokyo at Ajinomoto Stadium on October 25

New signing, Kawanami started the game for the first time this season since he came to Okayama due to Brodersen's suspension. Ichimi and Tabei were back in the staring line-up. They were expected to activate their attacking.


After the kickoff, the visitors struggled to have more ball possession. In the 3rd minute, Iwabuchi tried to open the score, but it was off target. In the 20th minute, a free kick was given to Kiyama's men, however, Esaka's attempt was saved by the opponent's goal keeper. In the 33rd minute, Tagami showed a nice blocking. In the 37th minute, Ichimi nearly found the net. The first half ended a scoreless tie.


Right after the break, Kato almost opened the score. In the 48th minute, Okayama conceded an opener. In the 54th minute, Tagami showed another nice blocking. In the 59th minute, Lucas and Kimura came off the bench to change the game. Right after that, Kimura almost made an equalizer. In the 73rd minute, Esaka equalized the game with his superb header. In the 84th minute,  Kamiya's strike was off target. In the 88th minute, the opponent made a clincher. Two minutes later, they added a third so that Okayama were defeated and were not able to secure their survival for the division 1 this sec.
