This sec, three veteran players, Hamada, Goto and Ueda were back in the starting line-up. An ace striker, Lee Yong-Jae and Shimizu were expected to score goals since Okayama have not scored for the last two matches.


After the kickoff, Okayama aggressively kept attacking. In the 3rd minute, young defender, Shimoguchi took a header, crossed by Ueda. In the 16th minute, Shimizu was not able to receive a pass in the box. Three minutes later, a penalty was given to the opponent. In the 29th minute, a rookie, Noguchi's attempt was off target. In
the 31st minute, Arima's men conceded a second.


Noguchi was replaced by Sekido. Four minutes after the break, Shimizu almost smashed the net his his header. In the 66th minute, he was not able to grasp another chance. Two minutes later, two forwards, Yamamoto and Akamine came off the bench. In the 75th minute, Ueda's free kick was blocked by the rival. Afterwards, the red-uniformed men dropped points.

Last year, Machida struggled around the bottom of the league and finished in the 18th place. After the season, the head coach Soma left the club. This season, they target to compete for the playoffs with new head coach, Popovic.


Former Fagiano attacker, JEONG Chung-Geun plays for Machida. If he plays for the match,  Okayama's defenders are　required to mark him with an extra care.

This sec, an experienced centre back, Tanaka was back as a starter from an injury list. Korean ace striker, Lee Yong-Jae started the game.


Four minutes after the kickoff, Shimizu's attempt was off target. In the 20th minute, Uejo nearly smashed the net. In the 31st minute, Lee Yong-Jae was not able to receive a long-range pass. In the 42nd minute. Uejo made his effort to change the game. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


Ueda came off the bench. In the 48th minute, Lee Yong-Jae almost found the net. In the 55th minute, the home club conceded an opening goal. In the 69th minute, two forwards, Yamamoto and Akamine were sent onto the pitch to change the game. During the added time, Mimura missed the chance for an equalizer.

Match Preview 14th Sec : VS Thespakusatsu Gunma at City Light Stadium on August 22

Last year, Gunma finished the second in the division 3 and were successfully promoted to the division 2. This year, they target to survive in the league so that the outfit signed with some talents.

Former Fagiano keeper, Matsubara plays for Gunma. An ace attacker, Omae is one of the key players to watch out for. Fagiano's defenders are required to stop him.

This sec, two veterans, Ueda and Saito were back in the starting line-up. An attacker, Uejo started the game. He was expected to trigger his team's attacking.  


Six minutes after the kickoff, Tokumoto stroke a shot, but it was blocked by the rival. Six minutes later, Yamamoto failed to open the score. Later, Okayama struggled to control the game. In the 35th minute, Uejo's strike was denied by Tokushima's keeper. In the 40th minute, Ueda's free kick was blocked by the opponent. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


Defender, Shimoguchi came off the bench. In the 52nd minute, nobody was not able to receive Tokumoto's cross. Head coach, Arima sent three attackers, Lee Yong-Jae, Shimizu and Sekido onto the pich. In the 64th minute, Shirai almost found the net. In the 75th minute, Uejo's attempt was off target. Six minutes later, Shimizu missed the chance for an opener. As a result, the visitors obtained a point.

Last year, the club were eliminated at the final of the playoffs. This year, they target returning to the upper league. This is PRIDE OF CHUSHIKOKU DERDY so that the match is expected to be highly heated.


Former Fagiano ace forward, Oshitani, played for Tokushima. He is likely to miss the match due to covid-19. The rival's ace striker is Kakita. He has already scored five goals as of 11th sec. Okayama's defenders are required to mark him with an extra.

Head coach, Arima placed five fresh players in the starting line-up such as Goto, Mimura, Sekido, Lee Yong-Jae and Yamamoto. Former Fagiano man, Shimada started the game.


Right after the kickoff, a free kick was given to the home club. Mimura showed a volley from the set-piece. In the
11th minute, he had another chance, but it was denied by Niigata's goal keeper. In the 31st minute, Lee, Yong-Jae entered the box, but his cross was blocked. Before the break, Shirai's free kick was saved by the rival's keeper. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


Six minutes after the interval, Mimura missed the chance to open the score. In the 64th minute, an attacker, Shimizu came off the bench. Five minutes later, Lee Yong-Jae's header was denied by the opponent's keeper. In the 81st minute, Ueda's free kick was denied by the visitors. Five minutes later, Shirai smashed the net with his fantastic opener. As a result, the red-uniformed men successfully defeated the former division 1 club.

Match Preview 12th Sec : VS Albirex Niigata at City Light Stadium on August 15

Last year, Niigata finished in the 10th position of the division 2, which was very disappointing for the former division 1 club. This year, their target is to get the ticket to the upper league.


Before the new season, 2019 division 2 top scorer, Brazilian forward, Leonardo left the club. Therefore, the club signed some attacking players. Former Machida Zelvia man,  Romero Frank. He can be the one to watch out for.

This sec, young centre back, CHOI Jung Won was listed in the starting line-up. Veteran, Saito and rookie, Noguchi also started the game.


Right after the kickoff, a corner was given to Okayama. Noguchi smashed the net from the corner. In the 17th minute, Saito took a header. In the 25th minute, CHOI Jung Won was sent off and a penalty was given to the rival.The game was equalized. In the 29th minute, Noguchi was replaced by veteran centre back, Goto. Afterwards, Arima's men struggled to create chances.


After the break, the game remained the same. In the 59th minute, Lee Yong-Jae and Sekido came off the bench to change the game. In the 68th minute, goal keeper, Popp William made a fine saving. In the 74th minute, Saito made an attempt. During the added time, the red-uniformed men conceded a clincher.

Match Preview 11th Sec : VS Tochigi SC at Tochigi Green Stadium on August 12

In 2019, Tochigi barely survived in the division 2, ending up in the 20th place. This year, their mission is to survive in the tough league again.


This season, the rival are in a good shape. One of the key players is veteran forward, Yano. He has been ever-present as a first-choice. Okayama's defenders are required to mark him with extra care.

This sec, Korean ace attacker, Lee Yong-Jae was back as a starter. Former Mito player, Shimizu and Shirai started the game. Veteran, Akamine stood by as a substitute.


After the kickoff, Okayama struggled to control the game. In the 16th minute, goal keeper, Popp William made a fine saving. In the 29th minute, the home club conceded an opening goal. In the 43rd minute, Shimizu almost stroke an equalizer, crossed by Shirai.Afterwards, Uejo failed to make an attempt on target. 


Three minutes later, a penalty was given to Okayama. Ueda equalized the game. Five minutes later, Uejo　turned it around with his excellent strike. In the 67th minute, he added a third with another superb finish. Three minutes later, he was replaced by a rookie, Noguchi. In the 82nd minute, Akamine came off the bench to secure their victory. As a result, the red-uniformed men successfully defeated the rival. 

Match Preview 10th Sec : VS Mito Hollyhock at City Light Stadium on August 8

Last term, Mito made a breakthrough, finishing in the 7th place. The outfit failed to advance to the playoffs, but their performance was a big surprise.


Shimizu and Shirai must be motivated against their former club. Especially, forward, Shimizu is expected to score to clinch the game. In Mito, Striker, Nakayama can be the one to watch out for. The red-uniformed defenders are required to mark him with an extra care.

Match Review 9th Sec : VS FC Ryukyu at City Light Stadium on August 1

During the match, Okayama struggled to have a possession. The home club had few chances, however, Mimura smashed the net, encouraging his team mates. Afterwards, the game remained the same. Arima's men showed a solid defense against the rival. Before the break, Shimizu entered the box, but he was blocked by the opponent.


Mimura and Shimizu were replaced by Sekido and Lee Yong-Jae respectively to change the game. However, in the  59th minute, Ryukyu made an equalizer with their free kick. Four minutes later, Lee Yong-Jae missed the chance for a clincher. While, in the 84th minute, it was turned around by the visitors. As a result, the red-uniformed men dropped three points.
