Afterwards, Kiyama's men struggled to have more ball possession. In the 22nd minute, Yanagi showed a good blocking. In the 31st minute, Motoyama's attempt was off target. In the 37th minute, Suzuki equalized the game with his superb strike. Right after that, Tiago failed to add a second. In the 41st minute, Hotta showed anther good saving.

At the opening match of this season on February 18th,　the club defeated the rival. After the kickoff, the rival had　more ball possession, however, as time went by,　Okayama had more chances. This sec, Jordy BUIJS was back as a starter. He was expected to make solid defence for the club's five victories in a row. Sakuragawa started the game as well.


Right after the kickoff, Okayama conceded an opener, scored by the rival's Tiago ALVES. In the 8th minute, Hotta made a fine saving. Right after that, Sakugawa's attempt was denied by Yamagata's keeper. In the 13th minute, Sakuragawa showed another fine saving. In the 16th minute, Sueyoshi tried to equalize the game, but it was off target. In the 19th minute, Semba was not able to grasp another chance. In the 25th minute, Tiago missed the chance for an equalizer. In the 34th minute, Sakuragawa's header hit the post.


Two minutes after the break, Semba failed to smash the net. In the 56th minute, Taigo showd a good attacking, but he was not able to strike a shot. Later, the opponent took a control of the game. In the 20th minute, Sakamoto entered Sendai's box and tried to open the score. Two minutes after the cooling break, Semba's attempt was off target. In the 33th minute, Takahashi's shot was denied by the rival's keeper. Six minutes later, he was not able grasp the another chance.


In the 53th minute, nobody was not able to find the net from Tabei's corner. In the 55th minute, Mauk and Lucas came off the bench to change the game. This summer, the rival club signed with two talented attackers, Nagasawa and Saito.Needless to say, they are the ones to watch out for. The red-uniformed men are required to mark them with an extra care.

In the 17th minute, Tiago's strike was denied by the opponent. In the 20th minute, Semba couldn't hit the target. Right after that, Tiago's shot was off target. In the 26th minute, Hotta showed anther good saving. In the 41st minute, Semba failed to open the score. The first half ended in a scoreless tie. 

Five minutes after the break, Tiago smash the net with his stunning opener. In the 56th minute, Mauk and Lucas came off the bench to clinch the game. But in the 66th minute, the game was equalized by Iwaki. In the 72nd minute, Tiago was replaced by Sakuragawa. Afterwards, Kimura was sent onto the pitch. However, the club struggled to create chances. In the 43rd minute, a penalty was given to the visitors again. Mauk made a clincher. Later, Okayama successfully obtained three points.
