After the kickoff, more chances belonged to the visitors. In 3rd minute, Tamabayashi took a header. Later, Okayama were mostly forced to play in their own territory, while, Ehime kept pressuring red-uniformed men. In 38th minute, Ito provided a cross, but nobody was able to grasp the chance. Last term, Ehime made a big breakthrough, finishing in the 5th place therefore, the orange-uniformed club successfully advanced to the playoffs. Even though Ehime were defeated by Cerezo Osaka at the playoffs, the team had a great impact on the division 2 League.

On May 7, Gifu met Shimizu S-Pulse. During the match, the opponent's ace striker, Omae scored an excellent opener with a free kick. Later, Gifu actively kept attacking. In 27th minute, Gifu's defender, Abe stroke an equalizer to bring forces to his team. However, the club were not able to add a goal. As a result, the match ended in a tie.

One minute later, their attacker, Sekiguchi added a goal. On the other hand, during the added time, Okayama's young defender, Kidoku netted a goal. However, the red-uniformed club were not able to equalize the match.

Last term, Nagasaki finished in 6th place and successfully advanced to the playoffs for the second time in their history. At the playoffs, the club were defeated by Avispa Fukuoka, but Nagasaki constantly performed well in 2016.
After the last season, A Korean international, Lee Yong-Jae left for Kyoto Sanga, but the club acquired a young attacker, Ryo NAGAI from Cerezo Osaka. He is the product of Cerezo's youth system and can be viewd as a threat. He has already scored five goals so far this season.
At the last sec, V・Varen faced Giravanz Kitakyushu at Battle of Kyushu Derby match. The game was exciting. At the end of the first half, Nagasaki's attacker, Matsumoto scored an equalizer. After the interval, Both club added a goal, as a result, the match ended in a tie, 2 - 2.

This sec, Mimura was listed as a starter for the first time this year because of the tight schedule on golden week holidays. Last season, Yokoyama ended up in the 15th place. During the season, the team struggled to score. And also, the head coach, Milos Rus resigned his post because of the club's poor performance and his health concern. It is obvious that they had a disappointing season last year.
Before this season, former Fagiano's defender, Tadokoro joined the club. He has constantly been on a pitch as the first choice. It seems that he is highly motivated to face Okayama this sec. The club also acquired former Tokushima's ace attacker, Tsuda. He has scored two goals so far. He can be viewed as a threat.
At the last sec, Yokohama defeated V･Varen Nagasaki. During the match, Yokohama mostly dominated the match. At end of the match, the club added two goals, one after another to secure their victory.
This season, Yokohama suffered a third consecutive defeat from the opening match of this season, but later, the club have been in a good shape. Therefore, it is expected that the match is going to be tough.

JFL Match Review 9th Sec (1st) : VS Tokyo Musashino City FC on April 29

After the last season, Tokyo Musashino City FC announced that the club set a goal, aiming for J League division 3 in the near future. Therefore, the club changed its name into Tokyo Musashino City FC.
Before this sec, a young goal keeper, Nitadori left for the division 2 club, Yokohama FC on a loan. During the match, Tokyo mostly dominated the game, but Okayama's defenders made a strong showing. At the end, Musashino had a penalty kick, scoring a decisive goal to secure their victory. Next have been suffering from a nineth consecutive defeat since the beginning of the season.
At 10th sec, Fagiano face Nara Club. The team are one of J League 100 Year Plan holders. In 2015, the club ended up in 7th place, failing to be qualified for J League division 3. A veteran midfield player, Yamada plays a spiritual pillar. He is well-known and experienced player.
