The club's transfer information #6

A midfielder, HATANO Takanori plays for Tokyo Musashino City FC in Japan Football League next season. He joined Fagiano in 2013 and he mainly worked for Fagiano Next. He was capped at 68 matches of Japan Football League with 17 scores. He is from Hachioji city near Musashino city where Tokyo Musashino City FC are based in. He is expected to develop rapidly his strength in the new team.

J League unveiled the schedule for season opening period

J League announced that the opening match of the division 2 takes place on February 28, Sunday. Fagiano meet a new comer, Renofa Yamaguchi in Yamaguchi, which is PRIDE OF CHUSHIKOKU DERBY.


At 2nd sec on March 6, Nagasawa's men face JEF United Chiba at City Light Stadium. It is expected that lots of Okayama fans are coming to the Stadium for the remarkable match.


Japan Football League begins one week later than J League. Fagiano Next play against Sony Sendai FC in Okayama on March 6 and one week later, against Azul Claro Numazu in Okayama.

Start-up for the new season

Last week, the club held a press conference for the new season. Needless to say, the club's goal is to promote to the top league. The head coach, Nagasawa believes that the club's strength is powerful enough to reach the goal.


This is the eighth year in the division 2 since the club were qualified as J league club. It is obvious that the momentum toward the promotion has been increased in Okayama.


This close season, Okayama have successfully acquired several offensive players to reinforce their attacking strengths. The most expected striker is AKAMINE. He says he will do his best
to achieve the goal. 


The club also unveiled their uniforms for the new season, therefore it is felt that the new season is coming soon.

The club's transfer information #5

A midfielder, OKAZAKI Kazuya made an agreement with SRC Hiroshima in Chugoku Regional League. This season, he played on a loan for Verspah OITA in Japan Football League. He came to Okayama in 2010 after graduating from his high school and has appeared at three matches in the division 2 in his carrer.


A Korean attacker, HWANG Jin-Sung joins Seongnam FC in K League, Korea next year. He played for Fagiano for half a year, however, he obviously reinforced the club's attacking.

The club's transfer information #4

Okayama successfully acquired a veteran forward, AKAMINE Shingo on a loan. He has played for three division 1 clubs such as FC Tokyo, Vegalta Sendai and Gamba Osaka. He is an experienced and proven attacker with 68 goals in his carrer. He is expected to dramatically reinforce the club's atttacking.


A young midfielder, IIDA Ryo is permanently traded to the division 3 club, SC Sagamihara. This season, he played for Sagamihara on a loan. He appeared in 19 games and netted three goals in the division 3.


Chiaki and Someya signed with Oita Trinita. Oita was demoted to division 3 this year, therefore both are expected to lead the club back to division 2 next year.

The club's transfer information #3

A defensive midfielder, SENGOKU Ren is permanently traded to the division 3 club, AC Nagano Parceiro. He joined Fagiano from one-time J League Champion, Kashiwa Reysol in 2011. This season, He played for Nagano on a loan. He appeared in 25 games and netted one goal.


A midfielder, AKIYOSHI Taisuke plays for Okayama next year. He started his career with Albirex Niigata FC (Singapore) in 2008 after graduating from high school and played for 2 seasons. After that, he played for Singapore Armed Forces FC, PFC Slavia Sofia in Bulgaria, NK Zvijezda Gradacac in Bosnia and Herzegovina, SK Sturm Graz in Austria, J League division 1 club, Ventforet Kofu. 


A 21 year-old forward, TOYOKAWA Yuta join the club on a loan from division 1 club, Kashima Antlers. He appeared at six matches in 2015 season. He also plays for Japan national under 23 year old. He can be a chance-taker, reinforcing the club's attacking.


A defender, Ueda made an agreement with Roasso Kumamoto. Kumamoto belongs to the division 2, which means he is going to play against Fagiano next season.

Fagiano Legend File No. 2 : Ilian Stoyanov


He joined the club from the division 1 club, Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2011 at his age of 34. He was a world-class defender with Bulgarian national career. For Fagiano, that was the first time that former internatinal played in the club, therefore, his participation became a big news in Okayama city.


He played only for the year of 2011, but he was very familiar with Japanese football because he had already played for JEF United Chiba and Hiroshima for 6 years in total since he came to Japan in 2005. This veteran was very influential for less-experienced players.   


During the season, he had an established presence in the club with his experiences and spirit. He was like a textbook for his teammates. In 2011, He scored two goals and eight assists even though he mainly played as a central defender. At the end of the season, he decided to step down as a player.
