A week ago, the club unveiled a shocking news on their website that the club are going to disband their second team, Fagiano Okayama Next. According to the site, the club have already applied to give up the membership of Japan Football League.
The second team were established in 2009 and started in Okayama Prefectural League. A few years ago, Next were successfully qualified for JFL. At that time, the team seemed to continue to play a role as the second team of Fagiano Okayama forever. However, it seems that it had been financially tough for the club to keep the team.
To be honest, it is very disappointing, but, in the near future, the club maybe reorganize the second team and have the participate in J league division 3, therefore, I will look forward to that.
For other clubs in each regional league, there will be more chances to promote to JFL next year. Therefore, All Japan Regional Football Promotion League Series this year would certainly be worthy of remark.

JFL Match Review 2nd Sec (2nd) : VS Tokyo Musashino City FC on June 25

At the first stage, Fagiano were not able to beat Musashino. During the match, Tokyo mostly dominated the game, but Okayama's defenders made a strong showing. At the end, Musashino had a penalty kick, scoring a decisive goal to secure their victory.
During the match, Next actively kept attacking for an opener, but they were not able to score a goal. On the other hand, in 77th minute, the opponent stroke a decisive, defeating Okayama.
At the next sec, Okayama face Nara Club at City Light Stadium. Last sec, Nara made a victory against Briobecca Urayasu. They seem highly motivated for the promotion to J league division 3.

This is the first sec of the second stage this season. On April 24, Next were beaten by Okazaki 0 - 2. During the match, Fagiano struggled to dominate the game, while the opponent netted two goals in total to secure their victory. As a result, Okayama failed to avoid a eighth consecutive defeat.

Match Preview 16th Sec : VS Roasso Kumamoto at City Light Stadium on June 4
The overall record standing of Fagiano against Roasso is four victories, four losses and seven draws. In order to catch up with the top group, Fagiano are expected to bring a victory to their fans.
Former Fagiano's defender, Ueda has been ever-present as a regular this term. It seems that Fagiano supporters look forward to seeing him at City Light Stadium. A veteran forward, Maki plays a spiritual pillar. He usually comes in as a substitute to change the game.
At last sec, Kumamoto met FC Machida Zelvia. Kumamoto actively kept attacking, however, Machida's ace striker, Koji Suzuki netted an opener. Roasso struggled to equalize the game even though the team had several chances. After the break, Suzuki added a decisive second.
Right after the beginning of this season, Kumamoto were in a good shape, but after the earthquake, which happened in Mid April, the club were not able to continue the league for a month. Since the club came back to the campaign three weeks ago, Kumamoto have been in a slump.
