In the 30th minute, Sano tried to open the score, but failed. In the 37th minute, Lucas missed the chance for an opening goal. In the 39th minute, Yanagi almost found the net, but it was an offside. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


Five minutes after the break, Lucas's attempt was blocked by the rival's defender. In the 51st minute, Tanaka's shot was off target. In the 57th minute, Semba smash the net with his superb strike. Tokyo Verdy have been in a good form so far this season. They aim to finish in top two. They have some talents to watch out for.

Emperor's cup 2023:The club made a good start

On June 8th, Okayama host Giravanz Kitakyushu in the division 3, at City Light Stadium. This match, some fresh players were placed in the starting line-up such as veteran centre back, Hamada and the product of the club's academy, Yamada.


During the match, Okayama aggressively kept pushing forward and they created some goal-scoring chances. Right before the break, Sakuragawa made an amazing opener.


Eight minutes after the interval, Sakuragawa added a second with a superb strike. In the 68th minute, Yamada was replaced by Kawatani who made a debut for the club. Even though the home club conceded a goal, they successfully obtained the ticket to the next round.

In the 14th minute, Tanaka's shot was denied by the opponent. In the 22nd minute, Takagi was not able to grasp the chance to open the score. Two minutes later, he failed to take another chance. In the 29th minute, Kawai's strike was over the cross bar. In the 33rd minute, Mauk was not able to take the target. The first half ended in a scoreless tie.


Three minutes after the break, Hotta made a fine saving. In the 53rd minute, Motoyama's strike was off target. Five minutes later, Lucas almost found the net. In the 64th minute, Sakuragawa and Takahashi came off the bench. In the 68th minute, Tanaka nearly took the chance for an opener. In the 71th minute, Mauk smash the net with his super strike.
