Emperor's cup 2019:The club faced JEF United Chiba at the second round
The long-awaited Emperor's cup finally began. It is known that the cup winner is qualified to AFC Champions League. Since Okayama belong to the division 2 now, this is an only chance for the club to secure the qualification.
On April 4th, When the red-uniformed men visited Chiba last time, the match ended in a scoreless tie. This year, Okayama met Chiba at Fukuda Denshi Arena on July 3rd.
