This sec, former Marinos defender, Kato was not listed for this match. Lucas was back in the starting line-up. He was expected to score a goal. Popo was on the reserve list. He was expected to change the game.


Two minutes after the kickoff, a free kick was given to the visitors, but they were not able to grasp the chance. In the 4th minute, Kimura's attempt was side-netted. In the 5th minute, Esaka showed a nice strike. Right after that, Sato nearly found the net. In the 13th minute, Okayama's set piece was off side. In the 16th minute, Lucas opened the score with his amazing header from corner. In the 44th minute, Matsumoto almost added a second. Before the break, Brodersen showed an amazing saving.
 

After the break, Kiyama's men struggled to have more ball possession. In the 55th minute, Brodersen made a superb blocking. In the 57th minute, Yanagi and Iwabuchi came off the bench to change the game. And also Lucas made efforts to try to change game. Right after that, Kamiya tried to double their lead.  In the 60th minute, Brodersen showed a superb saving. In the 77th minute, Sato's strike hit the cross bar. As a result, the red-uniformed men successfully kept clean sheet.
